Adjustable Model of Renewable Energy Projects for Sustainable Development: A Case Study of the Nišava District in Serbia

Abstract: This paper explores and ranks the key performance indicators of multi-criteria decision-making in the process of selecting renewable energy sources (RES). Different categories of factors (e.g., political, legal, technological, economic and financial, sociocultural, and physical) are crucial for the analysis of such projects. In this paper, we apply the fuzzy analytic hierarchy process (fuzzy AHP) method-a mathematical method-in order to analyze the main criteria for such projects, which include the environment… Show more

“…In most previous researches, the influential factors in locating tall buildings have been mentioned [32,33], but the prioritization and weighting of these criteria have not been studied in detail. In this study, according to the results, land price, urban texture, population density, and traffic sub-criteria are at the highest level, and surface and groundwater sub-criteria are at the lowest level in locating tall buildings by prioritization.…”

“…Let F(R) represents all fuzzy sets defined on the set of real numbers R and let M ∈ F(R). The number M [47] is a fuzzy number if there exists x 0 ∈ R so it holds µ M (x 0 ) = 1 and for every…”

“…Non-renewable energy sources that are directly responsible for creating the effect of global warming are still used. Serbia has potentials for the use of renewable energy sources, primarily solar energy, but the degree of their use is extremely low due to higher initial investments [91]. Since the adoption of the Gazette on Energy Efficiency, the energy efficiency problems in new and existing facilities have been partly solved.…”
