Abstract: Diaphorina citri serves as the primary vector for ‘ Candidatus Liberibacter asiaticus’ ( C Las), the bacterium associated with the severe Asian form of huanglongbing. C Las-positive D. citri are more fecund than their C Las-negative counterparts and require extra energy expenditure.
