Adipokines from adipose tissue and common variable immunodeficiency: Is there any association?

Abstract: Adiponectin and leptin are adipokines, secreted by white adipose tissue (WAT), which play an important role in energy homeostasis. Some evidence has shown that adipokine‐producing adipose cells present in the bone marrow (BM) appear to exert an influence on hematopoiesis and B cell development.
