Adiabatic three-wave symmetric volume hologram

Abstract: , which allows for efficient transfer of population between two Raman sublevels via transition through third resonant level. We suggest in this talk to apply that idea to holography. Namely, we consider a volume hologram with two gratings, Here µ = − δθ air [πcos(θ air )/nλ vac ]/[cos(θ medium )] 0.5 is the parameter characterizing the detuning of the incicence angle of A-wave from exact Bragg angle.
