Background and Aim Thalassemia is now one of the most common genetic diseases with non-epidemic prevalence as the number of infected patients increases, complications of the disease increase and the number of deaths increases. Thalassemia is a growing disease among children, especially in early childhood. Materials and Methods: The binary scale (yes-no) is used only .Represented by previous literature on the subject of the study. Use the repetitive method as well as percentages to facilitate study and extract results more clearly and easily.Through a comprehensive study to determine the quality of life of children with thalassemia. The study sample was composed of (30) children with Thalassemia during a period of time( 1/11) to (30 /11) 2019. The data collected and used in the identification of tools consisted of (22) paragraphs. Results : The problems of the emergence of symptoms and their development quickly on the infected children ranked first in patients infected (90%) as followed by the problems of marriage of relatives and the spread of genetic diseases among them and by (96.67%).

Background: Suicide is linked to unmet needs, hopelessness and helplessness, an ambiguous conflict between survival and excruciating stress, a shrinking of seen options, and a wish for escape, the suicidal person's distress signal. Material and Method:A convenience sample was recruited from the aforementioned hospitals. Based on an effect size of 0.25, an alpha error probability of 0.05, a power of 0.80, number of groups = 2, and 3 measurements, the total sample size would be 72 who work in the previous mentioned setting were selected randomly for this study. The final sample size would be 72; 36 for the study group and 36 for the control group.A quasi-experimental design with study and control groups was used in this study, pretest-posttest research design was used in this study. The study was carried out in Al-Rashad Psychiatric Teaching Hospital and Ibn Rushd Psychiatric Teaching Hospital in Baghdad City. Data were analyzed using the statistical package for social science (SPSS) for windows, version 26.

Background: On March 7, 2020, the World Health Organization (WHO) declared the novel coronavirus illness (COVID-19) a Pandemic after the number of confirmed cases surpassed 100,000. COVID-19 has spread over the planet as of April 21, 2020, resulting in approximately 180,000 deaths out of a total of more than 2 million verified cases. Objective: to assess outcome of pregnant infected with COVID19 on newborn. Methodology: A descriptive cross sectional study was conducted on newborn of mother infected with COVID 19 during pregnancy at Bint Al-Huda teaching hospital in Nasiriyah. This study started from (3rd January 2022) to (4th April 2022). Method in data collection started from the (9th February 2022) to (23th February 2022). A nonprobability purposive sampling which consists of 20 newborn. The study instrument comprised of three parts: Demographic Data and Information consist of age, trimester, and chronic disease. Clinical feature domain and complication domain. The instrument presented to (5) experts in the different fields. Results: Our study shows that good evaluation at first and second trimester and poor evaluation at third trimester. High score of good evaluation at (18-22 y) of mothers age and poor evaluation at (33-38 y).
