Adenomatoid Odontogenic Cyst: A Rare Case Report

Abstract: Adenomatoid odontogenic cyst (AOC) is a benign, slow growing, relatively uncommon lesion of odontogenic origin. Histogenesis of AOC is still uncertain; however, it is often considered as a hamartomatous lesion rather than a true neoplasm. It is described as a cyst that has a hamartomatous intraluminal proliferation of epithelial cells derived from Hertwig's epithelial root sheath.
