ABSTRACTAdenomas are rare middle ear tumors that derive from the middle ear mucosa and can be easily mistaken for other conditions. Hyams and Michaels first described them in 1976 (1) . They can occur over a wide age range (2) , with no sex predominance (2,3) , and are not characterized by specific symptoms or findings.
