Adecuación y reprogramación del software urban growth simulator para su utilización en los procesos de planeación de la ciudad de Ensenada, B.C., México
Abstract:Due to the complexity of cities, it is necessary to have tools that help us to understand them and anticipate unwanted future. Such tools must be designed according to the needs of each place where they will be applied. In 2002 the Applied Geography Laboratory of Kent State University developed the Urban Growth Simulator (UGS). It simulated growth scenarios of Northeast Ohio as a support to planning and evaluation of land use policies.
