Addressing Pain for a Proper Rehabilitation Process in Patients With Severe Disorders of Consciousness

Abstract: Consciousness constitutes a fundamental prerequisite in the individual appraisal and experience of pain. In the same way, a person needs to be able to report on pain perception.
