Additive effects of Capsaicin Oleoresin, Irbesartan and Amlodipine Besylate on the blood pressure of spontaneously hypertensive rats

Abstract: The effects of oral intake of capsaicin oleoresin (CO) on arterial blood pressure was examined in male spontaneously hypertensive (SHR) rats. Animals were randomized into control (C), capsaicin oleoresin (CO), capsaicin oleoresin-irbesartan (COI) and capsaicin oleoresin-amlodipine besylate (COAB) fed groups.
