Adding Dexmedetomidine to Articaine Increases the Latency of Thermal Antinociception in Rats

Abstract: Articaine is a low-toxicity local anesthetic that is widely used in dentistry. Typically, epinephrine is added to prolong the duration of articaine local anesthesia; however, epinephrine exhibits adverse effects.
