This research provides analysis of existing models for competence evaluation and proposes a software engineering competence remote evaluation process model. We separate competences into two domains: professional and academic. The model is developed and implemented for e-CF professional competences and academic competences evaluation for Software Engineering Master Program graduates. The remote evaluation process is based on a proposed methodology in four steps. The remote evaluation process consists of two business processes: (a) Competence test design, and then (b) Competence test completion. Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN) model was developed as a summary of both processes.

Recientemente, el desarrollo de recursos interactivos está recibiendo gran atención en titulaciones de ingeniería para apoyar la enseñanza, especialmente tras la pandemia derivada por el coronavirus. Entre estos recursos, los que tienen la capacidad de corrección y/o calificación automática son los preferidos tanto por los estudiantes como el profesorado. Asimismo, la implementación de una evaluación formativa eficaz es uno de los principales retos de los docentes para mejorar realmente el proceso de enseñanza aprendizaje. Este trabajo presenta un ejemplo de aplicación de MATLAB® Grader , una herramienta de autor basada en web que permite a los instructores proporcionar una evaluación automática de diferentes tipos de problemas de ingeniería, no solo los clásicos ejercicios de programación, y, en consecuencia, informar a los estudiantes sobre su rendimiento de una manera rápida y eficaz. En concreto, se presentan una serie de problemas de diseño clásicos de control automático con fines ilustrativos.

Nowadays, all academic institutions exhibit and distribute their material over Internet. Moreover, e-learning and e-evaluation products is one of the most rapidly expanding areas of education and training, with nearly 30% of U.S. college and university students now taking at least one online course. However, Internet increases the vulnerability of digital educational content exploitation since it is a potential hostile environment for secure data management. The challenge is that providing current online educational tools that are accessible by a large number of users, these educational environments handle data of varying sensitivity thus it is increasingly important to reason about and enforce information privacy guarantees in the presence of concurrency. The present paper provides a privacy preserving approach in a concurrent online educational evaluation system. It introduces a privacy preserving approach for utilizing online concurrent evaluation of acquired student competencies that handles the increasingly complex issues of designing, developing and e-competence evaluation systems suitable for educational and e-learning environments. The proposed architecture for an online competence evaluation system offers access control and protect users' private data while, it provides concurrent procedures for evaluating competencies.
