“…These other tasks grouped in 5 domains may be useful to establish a cognitive profile, as we have previously demonstrated in a prior investigation [33]. Thus, the ACE-III may probably be regarded as a relatively brief cognitive instrument with a major role in screening (i.e., detection, optimally with the Mini-ACE) as well as in establishing a cognitive profile (i.e., helping in the differential diagnosis) [34]. …”

“…The usefulness of memory scores of each test might suggest a potential application in earlier stages of AD. For instance, the memory score of the ACE-III yielded a high correlation with the Free and Cued Selective Reminding Test and demonstrated a high diagnostic accuracy for amnestic mild cognitive impairment [34]. In addition, comparison of the different memory scores may suggest that those tasks that are more ecological and related to everyday functioning (e.g., remembering the shopping list in the RUDAS or a name and an address in the ACE-III) provide a better discrimination than memory tasks using a list of words.…”

“…In the present study, the cognition levels did not differ significantly between the two groups but indicated important deficits in many cognitive domains before rehabilitation treatment in both these groups. ACE III was used as a well-tolerated screening score which permits differentiation of patients with cognitive impairment, including those with BTs [22,23,42]. This questionnaire is a more sensitive cognition tool than the mini-mental state examination (MMSE) in BT patients.…”

“…Cognitive function was evaluated using the Addenbrooke's Cognitive Examination III (ACE III). The ACE III is a screening questionnaire that is capable of differentiating patients with and without cognitive impairment [22]. The ACE III consists of 21 questions, with a total score of 100.…”
