Adaptive Quantized Feedback Equalization for Broadband Optical-FSK Transmission Systems with Single-Electrode DFB Lasers

Abstract

A novel adaptive quantized feedback equalization network is presented. It combats signal distortions resulting from dip frequency and amplitude variations of semiconductor lasers and allows bandwidths depending merely on the high frequency roll off of the laser.
