In this paper a tool for the detection of repetitive tasks with logical sequences realized across command of the keyboard is proposed, by means of the design and implementation of an algorithm based on the use of finite automata deterministic and agents of bosses' search. The innovation of the developed algorithm takes root in that it is orientated to the detection of repetitive tasks which activities have a logical sequence and that nowadays are not automated by the complex thing that is this labor. ResumenEn este artículo se propone una herramienta para la detección de tareas repetitivas con secuencias lógicas realizadas a través de comandos del teclado, mediante el diseño e implementación de un algoritmo basado en el uso de autómatas finitos determinísticos y agentes de búsqueda de patrones. La novedad del algoritmo desarrollado radica en que está orientado a la detección de tareas repetitivas cuyas actividades tienen una secuencia lógica y que actualmente no se encuentran automatizadas por lo complejo que es esta labor.

The development of dynamic pages is a difficult and costly endeavour, out-of-reach for most users, experts, and content producers. We have developed a set of techniques to support the edition of dynamic web pages in a WYSIWYG environment. In this paper we focus on specific techniques for inferring changes to page generation procedures from users actions on examples of the pages generated by these procedures. More specifically, we propose techniques for detecting iteration patterns in users' behavior in web page editing tasks involving page structures like lists, tables and other iterative HTML constructs. Such patterns are used in our authoring tool, DESK, where a specialized assistant, DESK-A, detects iteration patterns and generates, using Programming by Example, a programmatic representation of the user's actions. Iteration patterns help obtain a more detailed characterization of users' intent, based on user monitoring techniques, that is put in relation to application knowledge automatically extracted by our system from HTML pages. DESK-A relieves end-users from having to learn programming and specification languages for editing dynamic-generated web pages.

This paper proposes a pseudo-syllabic soft keyboard for the Croatian language. The orthogonal keyboard layout makes it possible to improve typing efficiency in terms of keystroke saving, and is based on a highly ordered arrangement of pseudo-syllabic keys. The positions of the consonant and vowel graphemes that constitute a pseudo-syllable are used to access it orthogonally and independently of each other. This allows the user to input a pseudo-syllable with a lower cognitive load than with non-orthogonal 2-D layouts. Moreover, due to the almost perfect transparency of the language, a pseudo-syllable to be input can be accessed fast and with a reduced cognitive load starting from its phonetic sounds. The results of the present study show that the obtainable keystroke savings are comparable with those scored by word prediction tools with one suggestion, i.e., those requiring only a moderate cognitive load by the user.
