Adaptive output feedback consensus tracking for linear multi-agent systems with unknown dynamics

Abstract: In this paper, the consensus tracking problem with unknown dynamics in the leader for the linear multiagent systems is addressed. Based on the relative output information among the agents, decentralized adaptive consensus protocols with static coupling gains are designed to guarantee that the consensus tracking errors converge to a small neighborhood around the origin and all the signals in the closed-loop dynamics are uniformly ultimately bounded. Moreover, the result is extended to the case with dynamic coup… Show more

“…It also should be pointed out that similar conditions are required in many relevant literatures, e.g. distributed state feedback tracking control problems of nonlinear multi-agent systems (Das & Lewis, 2010;Sarand & Karimi, 2016;Zhang & Lewis, 2012 ) and distributed output feedback tracking control problems of linear multi-agent systems (Sun & Geng, 2015;Zhang et al, 2011). The condition can be easily checked by computing H and G in Equation (2).…”

“…(2) Although the work in Zhang et al (2011) and Sun and Geng (2015) discussed the output feedback consensus tracking problem for multi-agent systems, the results are only suitable for identical general linear systems. Moreover, it was assumed that the graph was undirected in Sun and Geng (2015).…”
