Adaptive Mitigation of Equalization-induced High-frequency Amplification Noise in Faster-than-Nyquist Coherent Optical Communications

Abstract: A novel adaptive mitigation scheme of amplified high-frequency noise in Faster-than- Nyquist (FTN) 16QAM coherent systems. It not only has a low level of complexity but also exhibits comparable performance to that of traditional schemes.
