Abstract:In Mobile Ad Hoc Network (MANET), forwarding probability should consider neighbour density, link quality and residual energy of the forwarding nodes. Also, redundant broadcasting by checking the inter-arrival times should be considered. In this paper, we propose to design a adaptive broadcast routing protocol using Fuzzy logic system. In this protocol, a set of forwarding nodes are selected based on the residual energy, coverage probability and channel condition. The rebroadcasting or forwarding probability is… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
