Abstract:The article presents the results of a study of the processes of lipid peroxidation – antioxidant protection in girls and women, representatives of Caucasians and Mongoloids suffering from type 1 diabetes. It has been shown that in the presence of type 1 diabetes mellitus, Mongoloid girls and women have a lower intensity of lipoperoxidation processes and a higher activity of the antioxidant system compared to Caucasian girls and women.
