Adaptabilidade e estabilidade fenotípica de genótipos de cebola em regiões produtoras do Estado de São Paulo

Abstract

With the objective of evaluating the yield, productive acting, adaptability and phenotypic stability of onion genotypes in producing areas, twelve experiments were carried in Monte Alto and Sao Jose do Rio Pardo -SP, Brazil. The experimental design used was a randomized block, with ten treatments, constituted by the genotypes: Granex 33, Regia, Serrana, XP 3021, XP 6803, XP 8418, Mercedes, Princesa, Superex and RX 6010, with three replications. In the appraised environment five were just considered favorable for all the genotypes. The 'Superex' showed the highest fresh mass of the bulb, consequently larger productivity, indicating favorable adaptability most studied environments. The genotypes RX 6010, XP 3021 and Serrana, confirmed to be not very sensitive genotypes to the environmental improvement, with adaptation to unfavorable environments. The genotypes Mercedes, XP 6803 and Princesa showed unstable and unexpected behavior, and the linear model of Eberhart & Russell (1966) were not adapted for most of the genotypes, being r 2 lower than 0,80.
