Acute stress modulates noradrenergic signaling in the ventral tegmental area‐amygdalar circuit

Abstract: Noradrenergic neurotransmission is a critical mediator of stress responses. In turn, exposure to stress induces noradrenergic system adaptations, some of which are implicated in the etiology of stress-related disorders.
