Acute renal failure in horses with gastrointestinal disease

Abstract: Die prärenale akute Niereninsuffizienz ist grundsätzlich reversibel. Sie kommt beim Pferd im Verlauf gastrointestinaler Erkrankungen nicht selten vor und ist eine Folge von Dehydratation, Endotoxämie und nephrotoxischen Medikamenten. Nachfolgend werden acht Pferde vorgestellt, die initial mit unterschiedlicher Koliksymptomatik in der Klinik für Pferde der FU Berlin vorgestellt wurden.
