Acute myocardial infarction due to spontaneous coronary artery dissection in a young male with systemic lupus erythematosus: A case report

Abstract: Systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) is an autoimmune disease which typically presents in young women. Patients with SLE exhibit features of accelerated atherosclerosis. Here, the present study reported a rare case of acute myocardial infarction (AMI) in a male patient diagnosed with SLE.
