Abstract:Acute massive gastric dilatation (AMGD) is a rare event which is usually underdiagnosed. It can occur due to multiple etiologies, including medical and surgical, or as a postoperative complication. We report a rare case of AMGD as a result of closed-loop obstruction of the stomach following feeding jejunostomy in a patient with carcinoma oesophagus.
