Abstract: Introduction:Acute infectious purpura fulminans is a rare life-threatening complication of sepsis, which rapidly progresses to acute circulatory failure due to intravascular thrombosis and extensive haemorrhagic purpura associated with disseminated intravascular coagulation and multiple organ failure.
