Acute hypersensitive-like injury in specific-pathogen-free chickens after infection with very virulent infectious bursal disease virus

Abstract: Very virulent infectious bursal disease virus (vvIBDV) can cause systemic inflammatory syndromes and acute death in specific-pathogen-free chickens within 72 h.
