Acute abdominal pain causes in patients referred to hospital treatment

Abstract: Acute abdominal pain is the most common complaint to visit the emergency room comprising approximately 5% of total visits (1-13). A small percentage of patients with acute abdominal pain were not diagnosed during the first evaluation because of the early stage of the disease or subtle and atypical signs (13).
