Actualización del listado de piojos (Insecta: Phthiraptera) de México: distribución, riqueza, grado de especificidad y pediculosis humana

Abstract: ResumenNo existe un listado taxonómico que incluya a las especies de los 3 subórdenes de Phthiraptera (Anoplura, Amblycera e Ischnocera) presentes en México. Los listados más importantes han sido sobre piojos chupadores -en mamíferos-o masticadores -en aves y mamíferos. En este trabajo se presenta un listado actualizado de los piojos de México, incluyendo su distribución estatal, especificidad y registros de pediculosis humana.
