Actual Conditions of Affiliated Facilities With Small-Scale Daycare Services, and the Effects by Age Composition in Capacity of Authorized Day-Nurseries

Abstract

Small-scale daycare services for 0-2 year olds, which were established in 2015, are expected to eliminate especially young children on the waiting list. However, how to secure the acceptance of 3-year-old graduates has become a big issue, and it is necessary to establish af liated facilities for small-scale daycare services. The purpose of this study is to clarify the actual circumstances of the af liated facilities with small-scale daycare services, and the effects of age composition in capacity of authorized day-nurseries. As a survey method, document analysis and visit survey to 17 nurseries were conducted.
