Abstract: Verö entlicht auf Englisch. David W. Pao untersucht die weitreichende Beziehung zwischen Jesaja und den theologischen Grundsätzen der Apostelgeschichte. Die Grundsätze Jesajas stützen sich auf die Gründungsgeschichte des alten Israels, und das neue Exodusprogramm in Jesaja liefert das hermeneutische Beispiel, womit der Leser die Erzählung der Apostelgeschichte verstehen kann.
