Abstract: Inflammation is a complex biological response of vascular tissue to noxious stimuli such as pathogens, damaged body cells, or irritants. The drugs commonly used are non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. However, long-term use of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs can cause ulceration and bleeding in the lower GI tract.
