Activism and Research: Reflections from the Classroom and Critical Pedagogy

Abstract

This text discusses the relationship between academic research and activism by expanding the debate to teaching. Firstly, the literature on the connection between academia and research will be reviewed with a focus on gender studies. Afterwards, the results of the small-scaled research which was conducted with undergraduate and postgraduate students on activism and research in 2022 will be summarized.
