Active Control of Shaft Torsional Vibration with a Dynamic Torque Actuator

Abstract: Multi-harmonic fluctuations from the output torque of an engine, propeller, or other power source constitute the main source of torsional vibration of a shafting system, and stimulate other coupled vibrations.
