Abstract: Rapidly progressive interstitial lung disease (RP-ILD) and its distinctive cutaneous features are highly associated with the presence of anti-melanoma differentiation-associated gene 5 (anti-MDA5) antibody in patients with dermatomyositis (DM), leading to a poor prognosis.
