Acoustic Wave Reflection in Water Affects Underwater Wireless Sensor Networks

Abstract: The phenomenon of acoustic wave reflection off fluid–solid surfaces is the focus of this research. This research aims to measure the effect of material physical qualities on oblique incidence acoustic attenuation across a large frequency range. To construct the extensive comparison shown in the supporting documentation, reflection coefficient curves were generated by carefully adjusting the porousness and permeability of the poroelastic solid. The next stage in determining its acoustic response is to determine… Show more

“…Because of the mobility of the nodes, communication between nodes in UASNs is extremely difficult. To avoid packet loss and malicious activity from affecting a node, it is critical to create a unique secure transmission mechanism [ 13 15 ]. Malicious nodes that do not forward a packet can also degrade network performance.…”

“…In the field of UWSNs, there has recently been a surge in the amount of interest in using distributed antenna systems to connect to wireless communication networks. In a WSN, individual antennas are dispersed and connected by UWANs, an external connection that connects sensor nodes via radio (Carroll et al, 2014;Sathish, Hamdi, Chinthaginjala Venkata, Alibakhshikenari, et al, 2023;Sathish, Ravikumar, et al, 2023). Two or more of the internal sensor components of a sub-merged or acoustically isolated by cluster and cluster head sensors followed by sink and base station, as shown in Figure 2.…”

“…Similarly, optical signals are attenuated and dispersed significantly in aquatic environments (J. Luo et al, 2018;Sathish, Hamdi, Chinthaginjala Venkata, Alibakhshikenari, et al, 2023;Sathish, Ravikumar, et al, 2023;J. Yang et al, 2015).…”

“…Furthermore, "underwater wireless sensor network performance analysis using diverse routing protocols" has been studied (Sathish, Ravikumar, et al, 2022). However, many researches and studies have been done in the field related to sensors (Sathish, Anbazhagan, et al, 2022;Sathish, Hamdi, Chinthaginjala Venkata, et al, 2023). Chiral media can be utilized in chiral sensing devices.…”
