Abstract:This work investigates the acoustic, electrochemical, and microstructural characteristics of aluminum alloy 6061 (AA6061) modified with zinc and tin to enhance sound attenuation. The effects of modifying the commercial aluminum alloy 6061 with the incorporation of Zn and Sn were analyzed for their impact on acoustic properties, electrochemical behavior, and microstructural changes.
