Georgios Karakonstantis
Abstract:The identification of patterns and changes in timeseries using the autocorrelation function (ACF) is traditionally used in several applications from communications, multimedia to remote health monitoring. Existing ACF implementations have tried to meet the throughput requirements of specific domains by mainly using time-domain approaches, however such techniques require several costly multiplications, which hinder their use in power-constrained devices, essential in emerging ACF-based edge applications. scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
