“…Um caso de acidente por centopeias envolvendo infante, na Venezuela, foi relatado por Rodriguez-Acosta et al 2000, onde os sintomas apresentados pela criança foram choro incontrolável, irritabilidade, dor intensa e edema no local da picada, eritema, hipertermia local, coágulos de sangue, taquicardia, febre, sonolência, entre outros.
