Acid-Base Equilibrium Modeling Based on the Balance Concept

Abstract: Two approaches are applied to the clinical evaluation of acid--base equilibria: one is the traditional “Danish school” approach of Siggaard-Andersen et al., the other is the “modern” approach by Stewart and Fencl.
