Abstract:This chapter presents an overview of the fundamental aspects of the formation and structure of metal enolates, focusing on the consequences of acid–base and solvation properties of main‐group metal enolates on their chemical reactivity. Reference data such as equilibrium and acid dissociation constants are compiled.
