Achieving remission with venlafaxine and fluoxetine in major depression: its relationship to anxiety symptoms

Abstract: Venlafaxine, a serotonin and norepinephrine reuptake inhibitor (SNRI), produces significantly higher remission rates in depressed patients than do the selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs).
