Achievement of 10‐year survival: A case of pubic bone recurrence as the primary failure site of chemo‐refractory ovarian clear cell carcinoma

Abstract: Clear cell carcinoma of the ovary tends to have a poor response to conventional platinum-based chemotherapy. Bone recurrence from ovarian cancer is rare and prognosis of patients with such a condition is poor. We report a patient with chemo-refractory ovarian clear cell carcinoma who developed pubic bone recurrence and subsequent para-aortic node recurrence.
