Abstract: Iron accumulation in the brain causes oxidative stress, blood–brain barrier (BBB) breakdown, and neurodegeneration. We examined the preventive effects of acetylated oligopeptides (AOP) from whey protein on iron‐induced hippocampal damage compared to N‐acetyl cysteine (NAC).
