Abstract: SUMMAInvestigations of the gas sensitivity of specific metaloxide thin films (such as SrTiO, and CeO,) have shown that at particular combinations of gas composition and sensor material there exists a specific temperature at which the gas mixture changes from being an 'oxidising' agent to a 'reducing' agent.
