Abstract:Accurate inversion of seismic fault parameters has been a challenge in the studies of geophysical non-linear inversion problems. Many non-linear methods such as Simulated Annealing (SA), Genetic Algorithm (GA), Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO), and Multipeaks Particle Swarm Optimization (MPSO), have usually been applied to inverse the fault parameters from geodetic observation data. However, their accuracy and availability can vary from different-type fault earthquakes (pure strike-slip, pure dip-slip fault, … Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
