Accumulation and depletion of chromium in mystus vittatus (BLOCH)

Abstract: Summary: Exposure against two ppm chromium from K2CrZ07 for 1 to 7 mont.hs produced increasing accumulation of chromium in the liver, kidneys, brain and bone of the freshwater fish Mystus vittatus. In gonads, the accumulation of chromium was progressive for the first 5 months (i.e., April to August), but not in the subsequent 2months.
