Accounting for language background differences in the Australian National Assessments – Literacy and Numeracy

Abstract: This study examines language background differences in the Australian National Assessments – Literacy and Numeracy (NAPLAN), and the extent that language background differences are accounted for by socioeconomic background, schools and contemporary influences.
