Accommodating Uncertain Forecasts in Selecting Plant Design Capacity

Abstract: Although forecasts of future demand on a treatment plant are inherently risky, some preventative measures may be taken to provide a safety factor that will allow for inaccuracies or poor judgment of future conditions.
