Accessing new microporous polyspirobifluorenes via a C/Si switch

Abstract: A C/Si switch provides easy access to polybrominated spirosilabifluorenes with tailorable regioselectivities. Yamamoto coupling leads to fluorescent microporous materials that can act as a sensor for nitroaromatics.
