Accelerated Proliferation and Limited Differentiation, Mediated through Jak2, Exacerbate Ineffective Erythropoiesis in β-Thalassemia.

Abstract: Ineffective erythropoiesis (IE) in β-thalassemia has been attributed to erythroid cell death mediated by apoptosis or hemolysis during the maturation process.
